WREXHAM co-chairman Rob McElhenney sent a classy message to Notts County after they made the National League play-off final.

The Magpies had to settle for a place in the playoffs after coming second best to record-breaking Wrexham.

They looked to be heading for another season in the fifth tier after being 2-0 down at halftime against Boreham Wood in the play-off semi-final.

However, in dramatic fashion, they came back to win after netting a 120th-minute winner in extra time.

They will now face Chesterfield at Wembley next week.

Both Rob and Ryan Reynolds have spoken very highly about Notts County over the course of the season and even touched on them during Wrexham's promotion celebrations.

The Always Sunny star took to social media on Sunday (May 7) to congratulate the Magpies on reaching Wembley.

In response to a video of the commentary of the last-minute winner, Rob said: "I love football. Congrats @Official_NCFC."

Ryan also retweeted County's clip of the dramatic goal at the death.

It was certainly a relaxing weekend for Ryan, Rob, and all Wrexham fans who didn't have to go through the ordeal of the play-offs.

Roll on League Two.
