SPEEDING checks in a Wrexham village are ongoing following concerns raised by councillors.
Wrexham Rural Police team has been regularly conducting checks in Cross Lanes over the past six months.
The patrols come following concerns from local councillors.
PC Dean Sawyer completed patrols in the area on Sunday (May 7) and found no incidents of speeding.

The force did say that the speed of vehicles dramatically reduced in the area due to the police presence.
The last time the patrols were conducted, police warned motorists to watch their speeds and not get tickets.
They also assured that further checks would take place.
Patrols also took place in Overton and Marchwiel.
