RYAN Reynolds and Rob McElhenney weren't the only Wrexham owners to be celebrating in recent weeks.
One of the town's newest professional service providers, The Uncommon Practice, has announced its turnover is up 70% over the last fiscal year, while staff numbers have doubled.
Based at Wrexham's Redwither Business Park since August 2021, the accounting and business advisory firm's growth has included acquiring two accountancy practices through The Uncommon Accountants arm of the business, and taking on five apprentices from Coleg Cambria.

"We have plans for further strategic acquisitions in the coming months," said Steve Harvey, founder and director of The Uncommon Practice.
"And there are more projects in the pipeline to support our fellow businesses in North Wales and North West England; like our free 'Ignite Your Business' workshops, and The Uncommon Room, a shared workspace for clients at our Wrexham head office."
The Uncommon Practice was founded on a mission to "revolutionise the provision of professional services to SMEs". With a unique and fresh approach to accountancy and consultancy, the team of 15 increases the value of their clients' businesses through tech-savvy, forward-looking solutions, priding themselves on their pragmatic and proactive advice to clients.

In April, the business launched its Uncommon Sense podcast, where business owners and leaders talk about their challenges and opportunities, offering honest advice and anecdotes.
"We're delighted to be riding on this wave of Wrexham town's recent success," said The Uncommon Practice's director, Heather Cheetham. "The Uncommon Practice is proud to be in North Wales, showcasing our local team's expertise and its innovative approach to both businesses across the UK and internationally."
Heather has been nominated as Young Finance Director of the Year in the Finance Awards Wales, in recognition for her role in the growth of The Uncommon Practice.
She added: "We look forward to playing our part in bringing more investment, jobs and growth into the area, and of course watching Wrexham AFC make it all the way to the Premier League!"
