A Wrexham author has released her second novel following the success of her debut book last year.
Sue Fellows, who writes under the pen name SW Fellows, released her latest novel The Whytfield Investigation as part of her ongoing series.
This book follows Inspector Stagg, who is investigating the discovery of an unidentified body. A spate of robberies in the sleepy town of Whytfield results in the chief constable assigning his nephew Wilkins to assist Stagg, who prefers to work alone.
Burns, the assistant chief constable, detests Stagg’s methods.
But Stagg is faced with his biggest challenge when a policewoman goes missing.
The book, which Sue described as a ‘cosy crime’ is aimed at young adults and adults and follows on from her debut novel The Whytfield Inheritance set in the Shropshire town of Whytfield.
The first book followed a gardener who leaves the city for a peaceful life on a country estate, Whytfield Hall. The two books are standalones, but have some crossover as part of the ongoing series.

"This one, I’ve had reviews that it was very exciting, and it keeps you in suspense. My books tend to draw you in, I’ve been told, which is what any author wants, especially in these times it's nice to have a feelgood story.”
