A Wrexham author has published a book about Wrexham AFC eight years in the making and documents the club’s glorious history.

In his third book entitled Dirty Old Town, lifelong Wrexham AFC fan Nathan Lee Davies looks back at the club’s first spell in the Football League between 1921 and 2008.  The book includes match reports, season summaries, statistics and interviews with club legends such as Arfon Griffiths and Joey Jones.

Match-going fans may have spotted Nathan selling copies of his book at various locations in recent weeks, such as Maesgwyn Hall and Glyndwr University.

Wrexham’s Member of the Senedd, Lesley Griffiths recently visited Nathan to find out more about Dirty Old Town and buy her copy.

She said: “This book is a real labour of love. There is, of course, plenty of positivity surrounding the club at present and I am delighted the people of Wrexham have been supportive of Nathan, and that his book has been so well received.
