IT WAS the day Wrexham became a sea of red.
Tuesday, May 2, 2023, saw thousands of fans take to the city's streets to catch glimpse of the Wrexham AFC stars.
With both the men's and women's teams scoring promotion, there was plenty to celebrate.
Club owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds joined their squads, in scenes they must have only dreamt about when the bought the club.
But this wasn't the first time the Reds and their fans had something to cheer about.
In 1978 they became Division Three champions and were promoted to the Second Division.
To mark the occasion the town held an open topped us parade.
The Leader shared some photos from that day, and asked if any readers had been there...
Janet Caveney: "I was there working in what was the Crest Motel now the Wynnstay again, the staff all in the windows the bus went up Charles Street."
