A man has died following a collision in Coedpoeth, police have said.
North Wales Police confirmed that the incident happened at around 9.50pm on Tuesday, and involved a pedestrian and a Ford Focus on the A525.
The emergency services were called to the incident, however sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sergeant Nicola Laurie of the Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses.

She said: “Our profound sympathies remain with the man’s family and friends at this time.
“We are grateful to those who assisted us at the scene, however I am appealing to anybody who may have been travelling through Coedpoeth prior to the collision and who may have dash cam footage, to contact us.
"Equally, I am appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision and who is yet to speak to us to make contact as soon as possible.

“The road has since re-opened and we would like to thank local residents for their patience.”
An investigation is now underway and any witnesses or anybody who may have dash cam footage is urged to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit via the website or by calling 101, quoting reference number 23000371708.
The Coroner have been informed.
