A CAR was destroyed in what fire chiefs believe to have been a deliberate blaze.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call just after 10.30pm on Tuesday night reporting the vehicle ablaze in Holborn Crescent, Brynteg.
One crew from Wrexham attended the scene and used a hose reel jet, a set of breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the flames.
A spokesman confirmed the cause of the incident is believed to be deliberate ignition.
The vehicle sustained 100 per cent fire damage.
