WREXHAM AFC co-chairman Rob McElhenney has backed the club's record-breakers for even further success next season.
The Reds ended their National League campaign with a 1-1 draw at Torquay United on Saturday, April 29.
That was just eight days after being crowned champions and earning their long-awaited promotion back to the English Football League after beating Boreham Wood 3-1.
And this Wrexham team will go down in the National League history books as record-breakers having accumulated an incredible 111 points throughout the season.
That sort of impressive form saw the club enjoy an unbeaten season at home at the Racecourse too.
Now, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob is challenging the players to compete for even more glory once they return to the big time for the 2023/24 season.

In a Twitter post following the final match of the campaign, Rob - who took over as co-chairman of the club alongside Ryan Reynolds in 2021 - challenged Wrexham's stars to 'try it again next year'.
He said: "111 points. What a season. Shall we try it again next year? @Wrexham_AFC
"We're. Just. Getting. Started."

With the season now over, Wrexham will soon be heading to the USA for what should be an unforgettable pre-season tour.
They will face the likes of Premier League giants Chelsea and Manchester United whilst stateside.
Once that's over, a long-awaited return to League Two will get underway.
