RYAN Reynolds has said that reaching the Premier League is his ultimate goal for Wrexham AFC.
Ryan and co-owner Rob McElhenney were interviewed by S4C, in which they discussed their future plans for the club after its promotion to back to the Football League.
"Of course our aim is to reach the Premier League," Ryan said. "Why not? If it takes five years, or 20 years, that's the goal.
"The most challenging thing about that would be the need to revamp the stadium, but that would be a really nice problem to have."
Asked about the future of the hit Welcome to Wrexham documentary, Rob said: "I'm on another TV show which is going into its 17th season.
"And the reason we can continue to do it is that we love it. We continue to have fun. There's a studio that wants to make it and there's an audience that wants to watch it.
"From our point of view, this is a march towards the English Premier League. Nobody believes that it will be easy or that it is going to happen in the next few years."

He added: "And if we can continue to focus on what we have focused on all along - not the club or the team or both of us - but the community that thrives, then we can continue to do the show.”
Ryan remarked on his and Rob's mission statement when they took over the club two years ago.
"One of the earliest parts of what we were aiming for was for Wrexham to be a global force," he said. “That work has not yet been completed but we are on the way towards achieving that.
"When I walk with my children to school there are 10 or 15 people saying 'Go Wrexham!' - sometimes quietly or with enthusiasm.
"So the aim is to continue to grow Wrexham's name at home and around the world. It's an amazing story and it's a privilege to be a part of it. That's what Rob and I keep talking about - how to continue to build on all aspects of this."
