WORK is underway to replace the floodlights at The Racecourse.
The iconic floodlights at the oldest international stadium in the world were removed on Monday as part of the ground's redevelopment.
And on Wednesday, work to erect the replacement floodlights was seen taking place.
The floodlights are being replaced by new LED lights that will allow for internationals to be broadcast from the ground.
Work on the new Kop stand is set to get underway on June 1, following its demolition.

The floodlights are being replaced by new LED lights that will allow for internationals to be broadcast from the ground.
It is expected that the new floodlights will be in place by the middle of May, according to a statement made by the club earlier this year.
There will also be work done on the playing surface during the off-season, ahead of the Kings of Leon concerts at the end of May.

Phil Parkinson's men and an army of supporters are set to travel down to Torquay on the final day to celebrate the title success.
Following the weekend by the seaside, the next time the Reds are in action will be stateside during their pre-season tour of America with games against Chelsea and Manchester United in the diary.
