UFC LEGEND Conor McGregor is backing the Wrexham Lager Festival which is set to return this summer.

Earlier this month, the Irishman hailed everything that's currently happening in Wrexham as 'absolutely magic'.

In recognition of that, ahead of the 3-0 win over Yeovil Town on April 18, his 'Forged' Irish stout was made available to purchase from a mobile truck by the Turf pub's marquee.

All proceeds made were then donated to the 'Your Space' autism charity which Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has just recently become a patron of.

Now, McGregor is set to support Wrexham in another venture taking place this summer.

'Forged' has been announced as the official stout partner for the second edition of the Wrexham Lager Festival.

The business recently confirmed that the event would be returning for a second time following the huge success of the first in 2022.

Organisers were 'lost for words' as over 700 people visited Commonwood Fishery in June of last year to watch the likes of Welsh icon Dafydd Iwan and the talented Declan Swans perform.

Wrexham AFC fan and internet sensation Bootlegger (aka Karl Phillips) was the special announcer as acts took to the stage.

Now, the iconic Lager brand has announced that a second edition of the festival will be held on June 17 and 18.

Across two main stages at the atmospheric Commonwood Leisure, guests will be able to indulge in a weekend of beer, food and live music soaking in the summer vibes.

And Wrexham Lager has now confirmed that McGregor has thrown his support behind the event.
