ONE OF Wrexham AFC's star owners reportedly splashed out £40,000 on gifts for supporters following the club's promotion back to the big time.
Wrexham ended 15 years of heartbreak on Saturday, April 22, to return to the English Football League.
A 3-1 win over Boreham Wood and goals from Paul Mullin (2) and Elliot Lee were enough to also seal the National League title for the Reds in the process.
And the scenes that followed that victory were simply incredible, with fans rushing on to the Racecourse pitch to celebrate with their heroes.
The players themselves were spotted partying around town into the early hours of the morning too on what was a night to remember for all involved with Wrexham.
Hollywood star Paul Rudd was also seen celebrating with fans in the Turf pub next door to the ground, while club co-chairman Rob McElhenney took a turn behind the bar.
It has also been reported that Rob's fellow chairman Ryan Reynolds forked out around £40,000 on whisky for fans on the day.

According to The Sun, the Deadpool star purchased 40 bottles at £1,000 a piece.
A source told the newspaper that Ryan had 'invited fans to sample the booze last week' before 'leaving 40 bottles for them to enjoy' after promotion was secured.
It has been an unbelievable journey for Rob and Ryan since their takeover of the club was complete in early 2021.
The 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary has been a particular highlight as it has well and truly helped put Wrexham on the map.
That series brought in new supporters from across the world for the club and will return for a second season later this year.
