THERE is still time to catch Wrexham's Carnival of Words literary festival.

There have been several best-selling authors taking part in this year’s exciting line-up which runs until Saturday, April 29.

Crime writer Conrad Jones, author of The Anglesey Murders, is to appear at the festival.

Conrad, from Holyhead, is a best-selling Amazon all-star author. His 29 novels have been translated into six languages. He’s best known for The Anglesey Murders series, which follows DI Alan Williams and connects to his Alec Ramsay detective books both soon to available as Magna graphic novels. The storylines are carefully woven around real places and landmarks across North Wales and Liverpool.

Conrad will be hosting an afternoon event at Chirk Library on Thursday at 2pm.

Mike Gayle’s novels include the Richard and Judy Book Club picks Half a World Away and All The Lonely People, hailed by The Guardian as ‘a heartbreaking and ultimately uplifting look at isolation’.
