Acts from all over the world including Australia, the USA and Japan along with a wide range of local talent will ascend on Wrexham next week for the Focus Wales International Showcase Festival.
Previously awarded ‘Best Festival for Emerging Talent’ at the UK Festival Awards, Focus Wales will return to Wrexham for a 12th year bringing with it 250 artists across 20 stages.

Where is Focus Wales?
Focus Wales will return to Wrexham, North Wales for a 12th year.
The festival will be run across various venues throughout Wrexham.

When is Focus Wales 2023?
Artists from all over the world will be heading to Wrexham next week for the festival.
Focus Wales 2023 will run from Thursday, May 4 to Saturday, May 6.

Artists from countries across the world including Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Madagascar, Sweden, Ukraine and the US, along with local talent from Wales and England, will be at the Wrexham event.

Other activities/events at Focus Wales 2023
According to the Focus Wales website, as well as the live music line-up, Focus Wales will once again host a music conference, which includes industry panels featuring discussions with Cindy Castillo (Mad Cool Festival, Spain), Jean-Louis Brossard (Trans Musicales, France), Ralf Niemczyk (Rolling Stone, Germany), Andrea Caswell (MMF Canada), and Mark Davyd (Music Venue Trust), to name a few.
The Focus Wales Film Festival will also return on May 5 and 6 inside Theatr Ial at Coleg Cambria to showcase the best short films from Wales and beyond, plus a selection of full-length features.
How to get tickets to Focus Wales 2023?
Tickets for Focus Wales 2023 are available now from the festival website.
There are four types of passes you can buy for the event:
Standard Festival Pass (£70 adults/£50 young persons - aged 16 or under)
This festival pass will grant access to all Focus Wales live shows, conferences and film events during the festival (subject to venue capacities).
Priority Festival Pass (£100)
This pass will grant access to all Focus Wales live, conference and film events during the festival (subject to venue capacities), and permits queue jumps at venues when possible.

Delegate Festival Pass (£160)
Delegate pass holders receive full delegate accreditation and badge. This festival pass will grant access to all Focus Wales live, conference and film events during the festival and access to RSVP mixers and networking events as well as access to the online delegate database and a professional profile on the Focus Wales website and mobile app.
Day passes (£40)
Day passes will grant access to all FOCUS Wales live, conference, and film events on a particular day (subject to venue capacities), working on a first come first served basis.
