WREXHAM-fan and weather presenter, Ruth Dodsworth, stuck to her word and sported some Reds gear during her weather update after the club earned promotion.
Ruth has become a much-loved figure among Wrexham fans and has regularly been spotted at both home and away matches.
The ITV weather presenter previously told the Leader that she first became a fan of the club through her husband Rob who has been a lifelong supporter and is from Connah's Quay.
The couple travelled to Wembley for Ruth's 47th birthday last year, for what sadly ended in a 1-0 defeat to Bromley in the FA Trophy final.
But now, in complete contrast nearly a year on, the Reds have ended 15 years of hurt to return to the English Football League.
A 3-1 win over Boreham Wood on Saturday, April 22, did the trick as Wrexham were also crowned National League champions.
And Ruth has since kept true to her word and fulfilled a promise she made for the day promotion eventually came around.

In what was her first ITV weather forecast since promotion was achieved, Ruth sported her Wrexham shirt.
She also wore a pair of red trainers to match and managed to squeeze in a number of football and Wrexham-related puns along the way.

During the forecast, Ruth said: "Well, I'm true to my word. I did promise you that, once we got promoted, I would do my first weather forecast in full Wrexham kit and that is exactly what I'm doing. Look - even got the shoes on too!"
She added: "It is always sunny in Wrexham, the sun always shines on that particular part of the world. And, what can I say? Just, I'm very, very proud and sending you lots and lots of love."
