WREXHAM AFC players partied in town after lifting the National League title at The Racecourse.

The Reds beat Boreham 3-1 to win promotion back to the Football League after 15 years away.

It sparked wild celebrations at The Racecourse and later in Wrexham city centre.

The Wrexham players were seen partying with fans in the Rockin' Chair before they enjoyed a well-earned late night McDonald's.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney were left "speechless" following the match. Both chairmen issued heartfelt thanks to the Wrexham community on social media this morning.

The Reds go to Torquay United next weekend as champions to round off an incredible season. They have already broken the English professional football record for most points in a season.

This summer, the club embarks on its first ever tour of the United States - during which they will face Manchester United and Chelsea.

Next season's campaign will kick off in August as the Reds return to the Football League for the first time in 15 years.
