A range of North Wales restaurants have been shortlisted in various categories in the Food Awards Wales 2023.

From Mexican Wave in Rho-on-Sea, Conwy, and Green Olive, Menai Bridge, to Deadwood Smokehouse Mold, restaurants up and down the North Wales coast have made the shortlist.

The annual Food Awards Wales is in its sixth year and is run by Creative Oceanic with the awards a celebration of the country’s food scene.

Campaign Manager of The Food Awards Wales said: “In a country with so many food establishments and businesses, it can be hard to stand out.

"However, the 2023 finalists have all been distinguished as the real masters in their field due to their hard work and dedication to customer satisfaction.

“Moreover, their success isn’t just about their dedication to leaving every customer satisfied.

"It’s also a story that reflects the resilience and creativity of countless chefs, producers, employees and managers who are always ensuring that locals and visitors eat well."

The Food Awards Wales will showcase the best restaurants, takeaways, pubs, hotel restaurants, cafes and bistros, as well as those who help us explore new flavours and cuisines from different cultures.

The award winners will be announced at an event held in Cardiff this summer.
