A FORMER Wales international has offered to come out of retirement to play for Wrexham AFC next season.

Scorer of one of the most iconic goals in recent Welsh history, Hal Robson Kanu retired in 2021 following a spell with West Bromwich Albion.

In a response to a post on Ryan Reynolds' Instagram, the former Welsh international offered his services to the Reds.

He said: "@vancityreynolds I'll come out of retirement and come and play for @wrexham_afc next season.

"I'll also give my salary to the charity of the fans choosing..."
