EMERGENCY services are at an incident in the River Dee in Llangollen.
People have taken to social media this evening (April 17) to report that the police, fire service and search and rescue team are at an incident at the river flowing through the town.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We are liaising with police on an incident on Berwyn Street, Llangollen.
"We were called at 4.20pm and one appliance is in attendance."
Eye-witnesses state that it involves a "stand off" between a man on rocks in the river and the emergency services. This has not been officially verified by the emergency services.
North Wales Police has been approached for further information.
Further updates will follow when available.
