WREXHAM AFC's co-chairmen were delighted as the women's side clinched promotion to the Genero Adran Premier yesterday (April 16).
Steven Dale's side, who won the northern title, faced off against Briton Ferry Llansawel at Newtown AFC on Sunday afternoon.
A place in the Premier Division was at stake and a Rebecca Pritchard goal was enough to win it for the Reds, who secured their promotion.
It means Wrexham women's side will look forward to clashes with the likes of Cardiff City, Swansea and TNS next season.
Rob McElehenney and Ryan Reynolds both took to social media to give their thoughts on the promotion.
