LIVE on the Square has warned against illegitimate ticket sellers ahead of the event.
The popular Mold music festival will return for what will be its fifth instalment on Daniel Owen Square and is sure to be greeted with much anticipation from residents and music fans.
The date for the event has been confirmed for Sunday, April 30 coinciding with the May bank holiday.
In a recent post on their social media platforms, Live on the Square issued a warning against scammers who are attempting to sell fake tickets: "Please be aware that there are currently persons posting (particularly on the Mold Town Centre Facebook Page) advertising tickets for sale.

"The majority of these profiles are not local (or some even from this country), and as such unlikely that they genuinely have tickets for sale and are just after your hard earned cash!
"To ensure all legit, please purchase your tickets from our authorised sellers: Mold Town Hall (First Floor), Bargain Booze (Mold), Mold Alehouse, Tails a Waggin - Mold, KMA Tool Hire & Sales Ltd or from any of the bands performing on the day!"
The issue of ticket scammers hasn't gone unnoticed with Action Fraud launching a new national campaign this week after they received 7,088 reports of ticket fraud in 2022, as the UK enjoyed the first full summer free of Covid-19 restrictions.
Pauline Smith, Head of Action Fraud, said: “Action Fraud has seen a rise in ticket fraud over the past twelve months, as criminals take advantage of people wanting to enjoy more live sport and music.
“We urge people to be wary of ticket sales from unknown websites or people they do not know. Criminals may offer deals on sold-out or exclusive events, however once you have parted with your money, the tickets are either fraudulent or never appear at all.
“Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.”
