WREXHAM'S star striker Paul Mullin has revealed that a book all about his life will be released later this year.

The 28-year-old has become an icon at the Racecourse since making the move from Cambridge United in 2021.

He has netted over 70 goals since then and has affectionately earned himself the 'Super Paul Mullin' chant among Reds fans.

Mullin has also bravely opened up about his personal life, with his son Albi just recently having been diagnosed with autism.

And he was of course one of the stars of the hugely-successful 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary which aired on Disney Plus last year.

Now, all that and more is set to be told bit-by-bit in Mullin's upcoming book 'My Wrexham Story'.

Available to pre-order now from the likes of Amazon, it is due to be released in November of this year for a price of £20.

The synopsis is as follows: "The memoir from Wrexham's star player, Paul Mullin - as seen in Welcome to Wrexham, a Disney+ documentary series by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

"In July 2021, shortly after being named League Two's Player of the Season and Golden Boot, Paul Mullin sent shockwaves through the EFL by taking a downwards move to National League team, Wrexham AFC.

"Since then, 'Super Paul Mullin' has helped transform the Wrexham team, scoring goal after goal and capturing the imaginations of football fans across the world in the process.

"Here for the first time, Mullin tells his own story: his roots in Liverpool, the highs and lows of English football's promotion race, lessons learnt from his young son's Autism diagnosis, and what happens when Hollywood comes knocking at your door."

Taking to Twitter to announce the book, Mullin wrote: "Am so excited to say I’ve written a book all about my life, growing up in Liverpool, my time at Wrexham and my son Albi! It’s out in November but you can pre order it now! Huge effort till the end of the season now!!"

In the meantime, Mullin will be aiming to help Wrexham make a return to the English Football League following 15 years of hurt.

The Reds moved a step closer to promotion/the National League title with a huge 3-2 victory over Notts County on Easter Monday - with Mullin once again scoring one of their goals.
