WREXHAM AFC's supporters have been praised following generous donations during yesterday's match at Halifax Town.
Over 4,000 Reds fans made the trip over the Pennines, where they, unfortunately, saw their side lose 3-1.
It was a day to forget on the pitch, but the Red Army did themselves proud again, by making a large number of donations in memory of a teenage Halifax fan, who sadly passed away last year.
Noah Brown, 19, died from Cancer last August and now his family are fundraising in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.
Prior to Friday's match, Wrexham's co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney donated £5,000 to the fund, which now sits at over £17,000.

Reds fans also showed their support to the cause ahead of the game at the Shay, as £1186 was collected from the away supporters.
Halifax Town Supporters Club confirmed the total on social media after the game and were full of praise for the travelling fans.
A spokesperson said: "We collected an amazing £1186 for the @TeenageCancer from the very kind and generous @Wrexham_AFC fans at @FCHTOnline today. A massive thank you for your support."

Noah's father Stephen was also quick to praise Wrexham fans, he added: " From the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every Wrexham fan for sparing a thought for our beautiful boy Noah & supporting @TeenageCancer Trust today.
"@Wrexham_AFC has heart & integrity in abundance. Thank you!"
A minute of applause was also well received from the crowd of over 7,000 at the Shay in memory of Noah.
