THE nine weeks of roadworks on the A483 in Wrexham have been finished ahead of schedule.
Work was meant to be completed on April 6, but Welsh Government has confirmed that all the resurfacing has been completed early.
All traffic management was removed from the road today (April 4) following the conclusion of the works.
The news will be much welcomed by motorists, who have had to deal with significant delays in both directions since early February.
Last month, Wrexham MP Sarah Atherton called an urgent meeting after being inundated with complaints from constituents regarding travel issues.

The stretch of road between Gresford and the Post House roundabout has been problematic for the past 18 months, with a number of resurfacing works taking place.
The road was laid incorrectly and had to be torn up and done again, much to the frustration of local residents.
The North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agent (NMWTRA) stressed that this would not be the case during the meeting with Ms Atherton.
