A PET STORE business - which has sites in Flint and Wrexham - is banning the sale of rabbits over the Easter period.
Jollyes is promoting responsible pet ownership by 'paws-ing' rabbit sales over Easter.
Rabbits will not be on sale from Thursday April 6 to Tuesday April 11, in an attempt to remove any temptation of an impulsive purchase.
Preventing the risk of unwanted bunnies being abandoned after Easter, the bunny ban applies to all Jollyes’ 87 stores across the UK.

Phil Turner-Naylor from Jollyes said: “Rabbits are intelligent animals and lots of fun, but they can live for up to 15 years - and that’s a huge commitment.
“We’re called the Pet People because we’re passionate about animals and believe that lifelong responsibility should be considered, researched, and prepared for.”
While rabbits won’t be available for sale during the Easter period, customers can still hop to Jollyes as it will be offering plenty of pet-friendly Easter treats and toys.
