ONE of Mold's most popular competitions is set to make a return at this year's carnival.
The Mold talent competition, 'Time 2 Shine' is one of the highlights of the annual fun day and a date has now been confirmed for when gifted residents can audition for the highly anticipated show.
Auditions are to be held on Tuesday, June 6 ahead of the final which takes place at the carnival itself on Sunday, July 16.
The winner of the competition will recieve a cash prize of £100 and is open to two age groups, both under and over 15's.
A spokesperson for Mold Town Council said: "Mold Carnival's popular amateur talent competition and one of the highlights on Carnival day is back.
"So whether you are an amateur singer, actor, dancer, acrobat, dancing Mum or Dad, comedian, magician or anything else, why not audition on Tuesday 6th June.

Last year's Mold carnival was described by organisers as 'the busiest it's ever been' and this year they will no doubt be looking to repeat that success, with the talent show being one of the day's main events.
