ARRIVA has released a statement after one of its buses was involved in a collision in Flintshire which saw two people taken to hospital.
The incident occurred on the A548 coast road in Mostyn on Wednesday evening (March 29).
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called the scene of a collision involving a bus and a car.
Two people were taken to hospital, one to Aintree in Liverpool and the other to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
An Arriva spokesperson said: "We can confirm that one of our buses was involved in a road traffic collision at approximately 6.00pm, and we are currently assisting the police with their enquiries."
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 6pm to the Coast Road in Mostyn to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision.
"We responded with a duty operations manager, a rapid response vehicle, two emergency ambulances and the Welsh Air Ambulance also attended. One patient was conveyed to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and another patient was conveyed to Aintree University Hospital, both by road."
