A MAIN road in Flintshire will be closed "for some time" after a crash, police have said.
North Wales Police (NWP) has said the incident, which involves a bus and a car, occurred on the A548 coast road in Mostyn.
The road is closed between the junction by the old Lletty Hotel and the junction with Hafod y Ddol Road, near the Abakhan Shop.
A NWP spokesperson said: "The road is likely to be closed for some time, so please avoid the area."
Eye-witnesses state that an air ambulance has landed near the scene of the crash.
The Welsh Ambulance Service has said one person has been taken to Aintree Hospital in Liverpool, and another has been conveyed to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd.
As of 9pm on Wednesday (March 29), the road remains closed.
