A Connah's Quay salon is nominated for three hair and beauty awards in the Welsh 2023 competition.
Empire Hair & Beauty is a hairdresser and stylist based on Connah's Quay High street.
Owner of the salon Lauren Stokes, is nominated for hair extension specialist of the year, a title the salon won in the 2021 Welsh Hair and Beauty awards.
Keira Stokes is also nominated for junior stylist of the year and Laura Simpson is nominated for lash specialist of the year.
Several other salons across Wrexham and Flintshire are also nominated for awards at the upcoming Welsh Hair and Beauty awards.
Lauren said: "It is nice to be recognised for our hard work and it makes the job a lot better."
She continued: "When we won in 2021 I was pregnant so I am looking forward to getting a chance to celebrate with the girls at the awards this year."
