WE RECENTLY asked our readers which shops they would like to see hit town centres in Wrexham - and the answers certainly didn't disappoint.
In the digital age we now live in, most shopping can be done from the comfort of our own homes.
But, there are many of us who will no doubt still prefer taking a trip to the high street.
With many of our favourite shops and department stores sadly closing their doors in recent years, we can only reminisce about where we used to enjoy doing our shopping.
But, of course, there is still hope of new businesses opening up in future to help bring new life to the city centre.
And, with that in mind, we asked our readers for some suggestions.
We asked the question; 'What new shop would you like to see open in Wrexham?' and here are some of the best answers we received ...
Caroline Andrews said: "How about turning Debenhams into an indoor mini go cart track or a crazy golf? Definitely needs to be an entertainment space."
John Sylvester said: "Anything other than charity and hairdressers and nail bars, far too many already. Very little actual retail in the city."
Stacey Sutton said: "Lindt, sport shops, how about a small bakery that covers all dietary needs."
Andrea MacDonald wrote: "Wrexham AFC could do with a town centre shop in addition to their Racecourse shop.
"A Family History research centre and shop at the old library on Queen's Square. I'd love to see somewhere like T J Hughes come back to Wrexham.
"Slowly encourage and tempt as many of the Eagles Meadow tenants to return to the town centre. We already have some wonderful retailers but we just need to get them in one area.
"I've said for years that Eagles Meadow could become an entertainment venue with multicultural dining options."
Ian O'Keefe wrote: "All the existing shops back in the town centre where they belong, the introduction of retail parks into Wrexham never worked and never will.
"We don't generate new business we just move existing business around so give up and move back into the centre of town and turn all the retail parks into park and ride sites but sustain the likes of Greggs, Burger King, McDonald's on these park and ride sites so we have good, fast, accessible drive thru options."

Katie Williams added: "All shops in one area instead of having to decide between Plas Coch, Island Green, Eagles Meadow or town would be a start. And Island Green parking fees to be scrapped too to support visitors to new shops like Smyths."
Emma Price said: "They should make Eagles Meadow like Cheshire Oaks with restaurants and use Debenhams like the bowling alley there with laser quest, wall climbs, escape rooms and defo have a Five Guys."

Kelsie Williams said: "Hobbycraft and Lego shop."
Sam La Roche said: "Italian restaurant and independent cinema."
Doug Price was hoping to see a sports/darts shop open while Tracy Anne Knights called for a 'Build a Bear' to be unveiled.
