This award aims to recognise those who go above and beyond in bringing schools together in a bid to aid collaboration with their locality.
Criteria was judged from a proposal submitted by the nominee demonstrating bringing school leaders together for benefit of all.
The proposal reflected the impact of the collaboration and the difference it has made on school finances or teaching and learning outcomes.
Winner of this award was Dewi Wyn Hughes, Headteacher at Ysgol Gwynedd, Flint.
Through time as interim headteacher and now full-time headteacher he has demonstrated a willingness to collaborate with other schools, organisations and groups.
These collaborations have facilitated improvement, increased engagement and ultimately improved pupil outcomes across not just his school but the wider community, he is a shining example of how collaboration can improve education.
Discussing his win, Mr Wyn Hughes said: "Like many of the other award winners this evening it is really special that your efforts can be recognised in this way.
"The award is not just about my own contribution to what we do as a school but it reflects the work of other leaders and teachers who work to support our community."
The headmaster added: "I think it demonstrates the importance that we place on working with each other in a supportive nature. I am proud to lead such a hardworking team of staff who go the extra mile each working day and this has a positive effect on the school community."
