An inquest has been held into the death of a woman who was found in a wooded area behind a Wrexham supermarket.
Czeslawa Charyga was pronounced dead on July 15, 2022, after she was found in a wooded area off the cycle path between Morrison’s and Watery Road.
At County Hall in Ruthin on Friday (March 24), an inquest was held into Ms Charyga’s death.
The 43-year-old was originally from Staszow, Poland and had initially moved to Jubilee Road, in Wrexham. It was heard that she began drinking and had left the home. She was of no fixed abode when she was found on July 15.
A security guard was alerted to a deceased female near a tent in the wooded area that morning by another member of the homeless community, who then contacted the police.
She was later identified by her ex-partner and a post mortem examination was conducted.
Pathologist Dr Abdelsalam concluded that her death was due to left lower lobe pneumonia and alcoholic ketoacidosis.
John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, recorded a conclusion of an alcohol related death.
