A POLICE Inspector has issued a warning over a 'professional beggar' currently operating in the Wrexham area.
Wrexham town/city District Inspector Luke Hughes provided his daily crime update on Thursday, March 23.
This included incidents dealt with by North Wales Police officers in that area a day earlier.
Among them were a report of begging in Wrexham city centre.

The incident was reported at around 1.08pm on Wednesday, March 22, according to Inspector Hughes.
He said: "Report of begging in the city centre – please don’t give them money – sadly many of the beggars across the UK are now actually just making a living from this.
"The individual seen is not local to Wrexham and believed to be a 'professional beggar'."
