AN APPEAL for witnesses has been launched after a man was assaulted at a Wrexham bus station earlier this week.

According to North Wales Police, the incident took place at a bus station on King Street at around 8pm on Tuesday, March 21.

Officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the assault.

A statement from NWP's Wrexham Town team read: "North Wales Police are seeking witnesses to an assault that took place at the Bus Station on King Street, Wrexham on Tuesday 21st March 2023 at around 8pm where a male was assaulted.

"If you were present in the Bus Station around that time, please contact PC3796 Smith via email on 73796@northwales.police.uk or call 101 quoting 23000241028."
