WREXHAM AFC women look set to play in front of a huge crowd at the Racecourse this weekend.
The title-winning Reds take on Connah's Quay Nomads at the Racecourse on Sunday (March 26) in front of what will be a record attendance.
After Steven Dale's side wrapped up the league title, the focus shifted to attempting to break the attendance record for a women's game in Wales.
The women's domestic attendance record was set by Cardiff City Women when they hosted Abergavenny in November, with 5,175 in attendance that day.

Wrexham has now surpassed that, with the club's latest update on ticket sales showing that fans have now passed the 6,000 mark.
Tickets are still available for the game on Sunday, which kicks off at 2pm and can be bought for £1.
Wrexham's co-chairman Ryan Reynolds has hinted that he may be in attendance at the record-breaking game, which could see the Reds finish the season with 12 wins out of 12.
