SOME OF the Wrexham AFC stars were in the spotlight - and on our TV screens - once more on Saturday night (March 18).
The Reds earned themselves another huge victory that afternoon, beating Bromley 2-1 away to remain top of the National League table.
And some of the club's stars took the opportunity to celebrate that win by paying a visit to the hotly-anticipated UFC 286 event which took place just a few miles away from Bromley's ground at the O2 Arena in London.
The biggest event in the UFC calendar saw British fighter Leon Edwards winning the first defence of his world welterweight title by a majority decision against Kamaru Usman.
What Wrexham's stars might not have expected however was a shoutout of their own on US-based ESPN as the camera panned towards them!

The 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary has boosted the Reds' popularity worldwide.
And with that in mind, Paul Mullin, Ollie Palmer, Jordan Davies and Rory Watson were all given the star treatment.
Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney tweeted a clip of ‘the lads’ moment in the spotlight. You can watch it below ...

The ESPN commentator said: “Players from the Wrexham Association Football Club are also with us here tonight.
“They had a game earlier today, beat Bromley 2 to 1 to extend their incredible run. They haven’t lost a game in over a month. They sit atop the National League standings and they are also the stars of the original documentary series Welcome To Wrexham. You can stream the entire first series now on Hulu and the second season coming this fall on both FX and Hulu.”
And as if that wasn't enough for the Wrexham stars, they would also go on to brush shoulders with some very recoginsable faces during the night.

Love Island host Maya Jama posted a picture of her with Mullin to her 2.7m Instagram followers.
Players also posed for a picture with UFC president Dana White on what was a night to remember.
