A ROLL of carpet and 75 bottles of sun cream are among the latest items stolen by thieves in the Wrexham area, police have warned.

In his latest daily round-up on Tuesday, March 21, District Inspector Luke Hughes revealed that North Wales Police's Wrexham town team received 65 calls for service in a 24hour period.

That resulted in 37 matters for their officers to follow up on.

Among them was a carpet roll theft, as well as pedal cycles and bottles of sun cream being stolen too.
