MOTORISTS can expect to face delays on a main road in Wrexham next week.
A temporary road closure is to take place on Chester Road near Nightingale House Hospice on April 1, for up to three days.
Work is being conducted by Openreach at the hospice, with a lane closure necessary for the work to be completed.
Councillor Marc Jones confirmed the work will commence on Saturday, April 1, between Powell Road and Penymaes Road.
Cllr Jones added that there will either be traffic lights or a diversion for motorists leaving the town and that the work is expected to last a maximum of three days.

Delays are likely for motorists travelling into and out of the city centre while the works are completed.
A spokesperson for Openreach said: “We’re in the process of supplying Nightingale House Hospice with ultrafast Full Fibre.
“In order to ensure that our partners can safely carry out this work on our behalf we will have to temporarily close the road to access the underground duct that connects the hospice.
“We would like to thank the local community for their patience while we carry out this work.”
