Following on from their success before Christmas where they won the Active Wrexham tournament, Acton Park is now going on to represent North Wales in the Urdd tournament in Aberystwyth in May.
The football team did not concede a goal and finished top of the league earlier this month, at the Aberystwyth University-run Urdd tournament.

The competition involved local schools with both first language Welsh and Welsh learners taking part.
Seven children took part in the individual reciting competition and had to perform their poem in front of a judge.
One Year 4 pupil went through to the next round. He did really well and was placed third.
Also taking part were a group of children who had to perform a poem on the main stage and they have now gone through to the next round, which will be held in Wrexham in a few weeks time.
All at Ysgol Ty Ffynnon are extremely proud of all the children who took part, they worked extremely hard to learn the poem, with the help and support of Lowri Drew.

Ysgol Gwynedd, Flint
There was lots of literary themed fun at the school for this year's World Book Day.
The school created a book fair in the hall, where the children had the choice of book stands to go and collect two books from the stall.
This year children were able to get one free book courtesy of the World Book Day tokens, along with books from the 'I Love Reading Scheme'.
There was also an extreme reading competition, where children were asked to take pictures of themselves reading in unusual places.
The school council ran a cake sale to raise funds for the school, collecting £301.
Children have began making links to Rhiwlas Care Home and 10 children went to visit in their World Book Day costumes, to read their favourite story.
St Giles CiW Primary School, Wrexham
It was worth the wait for excited youngsters at the school, who got all dressed up last week for a belated World Book Day celebration.

The children and staff of the Federation have been working very hard over the past weeks, creating pieces of work for their yearly Federation Eisteddfod. Made up of Froncysyllte CP School, Ysgol y Garth and Ysgol Pentre, the schools come together each year to celebrate St David’s Day.
Categories this year included Welsh art, photography, recitations and biographical writing, ready to impress their judges, Revd Val Hughes and Buddug Selway-Jones. Each school’s Welsh committee, the Criw Cymraeg, gave a reading in Welsh, moving one step closer to achieving their Cymraeg Campus Bronze Award later this year.
