A JUNIOR futsal club in Wrexham has welcomed its new kit, courtesy of Ryan Reynolds.
The Leader previously reported that the Deadpool star and Wrexham AFC co-chairman had funded the purchase of a kit for FC United of Wrexham's U12 team.
After a fundraiser was launched to buy the team a new kit, a kind and generous donation from Ryan exceeded the total.
Following Ryan's donation, the club decided to honour the Canadian star by including the Deadpool logo on the new kit.
The new kit has now been unveiled, much to the delight of the team and Ryan.
FC United of Wrexham chairman, Andrew Ruscoe said: "We revealed the kit last week at Cefn Druids, as they've been brilliant with us of late.
"The lads were ecstatic when they got it, they were absolutely buzzing with it.
"Ryan even sent us a message saying 'love this!' when we showed him the lads in the kit.
"It's great for us as we have the Deadpool logo on to thank Ryan, but we also have our sponsors Time to Travel featured, who have enabled us to do so many things, they've been amazing.
"It's been a rollercoaster with the funding from Ryan and it has put us on the map as a club. We're now in a position to be looking for people to come into the club and take it forward."

Following the arrival of the new kit, Andrew felt it was only fair to send a shirt to both Ryan and Rob McElhenney.
It’s on the way!

A personalised @FCUtdofWxm #Deadpool shirt has been making the journey across the Atlantic & will be arriving soon to @VancityReynolds. A token of our appreciation from ourselves, @BLKRATGiraffe, @time2travelwxm & the @OffsideTrust. 😀💜 @WrexhamFX #Wrexhamfx pic.twitter.com/UxsQ8eIx3n
He added: "With Ryan's donation, we made sure we sent him a shirt and then we didn't want to leave Rob out so we sent one out to him too.
"Both shirts are on their way over to New York and Los Angeles, so hopefully they like them.
"What the pair have done for Wrexham is absolutely amazing and long may it continue."
