A statement posted by North Wales Police on the community alerts page read: "These are just some of the questions that I will be asking members of the public when I am out and about in our Rural Communities next week.

"Unfortunately stealing oil from tanks is increasing and we need to make sure that we are doing what we can to stop this trend.

"If you see us out and about next week, feel from to come for a chat and discuss security options available to you."
