A PERSON was taken to hospital after a car overturned on a country road in Flintshire.
The incident occurred this morning (March 9) on a road known as Llinigr Hill in Pen-Y-Ffordd, near Holywell.
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today shortly before 9am to reports of a road traffic collision in Pen-Y-Ffordd, Holywell.
"We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene, where they transported one person to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital for further treatment.”
North Wales Police is urging motorists to take extra care on the roads today as heavy snowfall hits the area.

A spokesperson for the North Flintshire policing team said: "Please drive safely if you are heading out today.
"We already have multiple reports of road traffic collisions in the Bagillt and Holywell area – and reports of roads which are particularly icy.
"The current forecast is a yellow warning for snow, consider whether your journey is necessary and if so remember to leave extra stopping distance and allow extra time to complete your journey."
