WREXHAM'S District Inspector has raised concerns over assaults on police officers in the area.
Inspector Luke Hughes raised the issue in his latest 'daily crime update' issued on Tuesday, March 7.
He says that 'four assaults' on police officers have been recorded 'over the last couple of weeks'.

Inspector Hughes added: "However day in, day out the staff at Wrexham turn up for work, put on their kit and go out and do absolutely all they can do to keep you all safe and for that I’m immensely grateful."
Inspector Hughes was also keen to praise the local residents in his latest round-up.
He added: "Thank you too for your support, you are an amazing community with passion and pride, it's an honour to work here."
