AN AIR ambulance has landed at a Flintshire high school after a collision involving a car and a pupil.
Flintshire Council has said that a year 7 pupil from the Alun School in Mold has been injured in the incident which occurred this afternoon.
A spokesperson said: "The school is grateful for the very quick arrival of the emergency services and is also grateful to local residents and passers by who were at the scene when the incident occurred.”
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We were called today at 3.22pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a car on Wrexham Road Mold.
"Officers attended alongside colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service. The pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance and the road reopened just before 4.30pm."
