NICK Knowles has sent a message of support to officers playing a fundraising football match in memory of PC Ryan Donaldson.
The television presenter, known for fronting DIY SOS and other shows, sent a video message regarding Wrexham Police FC's match in memory of PC Donaldson.
PC Donaldson, who was serving with the Wrexham Rural policing team, died tragically in December, 2022. He grew up in Buckley.
On Sunday, March 12 Wrexham Police FC are playing against Supporting Charities FC to raise money for The Police Treatment Centres, in memory of Ryan.

Every day police officers are suffering injuries and illnesses that have an impact on their work to protect local communities. The Police Treatment Centres is a registered charity which provides vital treatment and support to help these officers return to better health and get back to work sooner.

The match takes place at Airbus FC's Hollingsworth Group Stadium in Broughton - with kick-off at 4.30pm. A JustGiving page has been set up to help raise £3,391 - with PC Donaldson's badge number being 3391. You can donate to it at https://bit.ly/3JbtOGA.
And Nick Knowles has lent his support.
He said in a video posted by Wrexham Police FC's Twitter account saying: "Wrexham Police FC are hosting Supporting Charities FC in a charity football match in memory of their late colleague and friend, PC Ryan Donaldson.
"All money raised will be donated to the Police Treatment Centres.
"The game will be held at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium in Broughton - so make sure you get down there. Kick-off is at 4.30pm and absolutely everybody is welcome.
"Please show your support and donate to a worthy cause."
