A 'LARGE amount' of cigarettes have been stolen from the back of a lorry in Wrexham.
North Wales Police have issued a warning to residents after the incident which occurred last weekend at the Ruabon Park service station.
Officers say a vehicle has followed the HGV before seizing the opportunity to break the lock, enter the wagon and steal the cigarettes.

Posting on the NWP Community Alerts page, PCSO Steve Bellis of the community safety team for Wrexham said: "Just for your awareness over the weekend there was a large amount of cigarettes taken from the back of an HGV at the Ruabon Park Service Station.
"A vehicle has followed the HGV and when they have seen a chance have broken the lock and entered the wagon and stolen a number of cigarettes.
"Please be aware if you are carrying similar loads of any interference to wagons."
