READERS have been re-calling the best bands they've seen play in Wrexham ahead of the huge Kings of Leon gigs later this year.

On Monday February 27, it was announced that the American rock legends would be performing at the Racecourse on May 27 and 28.

And Wrexham favourites Declan Swans have been announced as the opening act.

Previously, the likes of the Stereophonics (in 2018) have kept a crowd of 20,000 people rocking in Wrexham.

And many of readers have been re-calling that day and many others as they look forward to the next massive gig in the city.

Earlier this week, we asked readers 'What's the best you've seen play live in Wrexham?'
