ONE OF Wrexham's star owners has given his thoughts ahead of the huge Kings of Leon gig announced for the Racecourse.

On Monday (February 27), it was revealed that the American rock legends would be performing at Wrexham's home ground on both May 27 and May 28 of this year.

Wrexham AFC co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney made the announcement via a hilarious video posted by both Hollywood actors.

Since then, Ryan has taken to Twitter again to speak of his excitement for the outdoor shows on bank holiday weekend - and it sounds as though he may just be there himself.

The Deadpool star has regularly been spotted at the Racecourse alongside Rob since the pair completed their takeover of the club in February 2021.

And it seems he may just be heading for the Kings of Leon shows too.

Ryan said on Twitter: "Every time I'm at the Racecourse Ground, I lose my voice. Seeing Kings of Leon May 27 & 28 will be no different."

Rob and Ryan's video has also confirmed a pre-sale on St David's day (Wednesday, March 1) for season-ticket holders and members, with the opening act being the Wrexham band Declan Swans.

Tickets will go on general sale this Friday, March 3 at 9am on www.gigsandtours.com / www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
