American rock band Kings of Leon have today announced two shows in Wrexham this May.
The multi BRIT and Grammy award-winning band today (Monday, February 27) announced two huge outdoor shows at Wrexham AFC's Racecourse ground on Saturday and Sunday May 27 and 28, a Bank Holiday weekend.
Wrexham AFC co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney made the announcement via a hilarious video posted by both Hollywood actors.
Tickets will go on general sale this Friday March 3 at 9 am on www.gigsandtours.com / www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Rob and Ryan's video has also confirmed a pre-sale on St. David's DAY (Wednesday, March 1) for season-ticket holders and members, with the opening act being the Wrexham band Declan Swans.
Tickets bought in person at the Wrexham AFC Ticket Office will not be charged booking fees – the ticket office will be open from 9am-5pm for purchases, from Wednesday March 1-Friday March 3.
A special postcode pre-sale for anyone with a Wrexham postcode will also open on Thursday March 2 at 9am – postcodes include LL11, LL12, LL13, LL14, LL15 and LL20.
